BIOGRAPHYI was born and raised in Houston, Missouri, graduating from Houston High School in 1998. Growing up on a small farm in rural Missouri, I learned the importance of hard work and was taught the value of an education.
After high school, I enrolled at Missouri State University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2005. In addition to my bachelor's degree, I have obtained two other degrees from Missouri State University, a Master of Science in Education Administration in 2008 and a Specialist in Education Administration in 2012. In 2016, I received a Doctorate in Education Administration. |
I have spent eleven years in education since graduating from Missouri State. Besides working as a principal at Greenfield Elementary, I have also been a history teacher, science teacher and coached basketball, baseball and track. Away from the classroom I have enjoyed serving my country as a member of the Missouri Army National Guard, actively serving since 2001.
Today, I spend the majority of my time away from school with my wife and two kids. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exercising, playing and watching sports (St. Louis Cardinals). Most of all, being a firm believer that you learn more by experiencing it, I try to fill as much time traveling as possible.
